I have PhD in Physical Chemistry and 7 years professional research experiences on Surface Sciences (UHV), Condensed Matter Physics, Material Sciences, Solid State Chemistry and Physics and Synchrotron Radiation on Sources (EXAFS, NEXAFS, XPS, ARUPS and Resonant Photoemission).

Presently I am working as a Post Doctoral Research Scientist supervise by Prof. Dr. E. D. Crozier on Environmental Project (Floc, Sand, Oyster and Sediments (Fe, Mg, Si, Pb, Mn, Zn and Cd)) at the Department of Physics, University of Simon Fraser, Burnaby, BC V5A 1S6, Canada. Specially this work is involved in characterization of metals in the Floc, Sand and Sediments from Boundary Bay beach, BC in Canada by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) at the Department of Physics, Simon Fraser University and Fluorescence Spectroscopy, X-ray microprobe EXAFS, EXAFS (Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure) and NEXAFS (XANES (X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure)) at the Advance Photon Source, (USA National Synchrotron Radiation Center), PNC-CAT, Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago, Illinois, USA.

From November 2000-October 2001 I have been working as a Post Doctoral Research Scientist under the supervision of Prof. Dr. G. A Sawatzky and Prof. Dr. H.T. Jonkman on Oligo Polymer (Polythiopenes (PT), Phenylene Vinylene (PV)), C60 and other Organic Materials at the Department of Solid State Physics, University of Groningen, Nijenborg 4, 9747 AG Groningen, The Netherlands. Especially this is involved deposition and characterization of Oligo Polymers (solution and solid state) by STM, AFM (UHV), and Optical Absorption Spectroscopy.

From January 2000-October 2000 I have performed working as a Post Doctoral Research Scientist under the supervision of Prof. R. Szargan on Semiconductor interface at the Wilhelm-Ostwald-Institut of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry & Mineralogy, University of Leipzig, Linnestr.2, D-04103 Leipzig, Germany. Specially this is involve deposition of epitaxial ZnS layers on GaP substrates, layer preparation technology (ESCALAB), MBE and characterization by XPS, UPS, LEED, STM, and AFM at the Wilhelm-Ostwald-Institut of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Leipzig and BESSY II (Berlin Electron Storage Ring Company for Synchrotron Radiation) in Berlin, Germany.

From 1997-1999 I have carried out work as a post doctoral research associate supervised by Prof. H. C. Ku on Synthesis and Physical Properties of New Superconducting / Magnetic System, at the Department of Physics, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, Republic of China. Especially, this has been involved the synthesis of the growing single crystal and poly crystal (Bi2Sr2Ca1-xRxCu2O8+d (R= Pr, Gd and Y doped) and Bi-doped Gd2-xBixCuO4 Cuprates) by Self Flux and Travelling Solvent Floating Zone (TSFZ) methods and characterization of single crystal and bulk samples by different techniques (e.g. SQUIDS, XRD, EDAX, SEM) at the Department of Physics, National Tsing Hua University, and at the Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (e.g. EXAFS, XANES and Angle Resolved Photoemission (ARUPS) Techniques) in Taiwan, Republic of China.

From 1996-1997 during my Post doctoral research associate I was carried out work on Scanning Photoemission Microscopy (SPEMS) under the supervision of Prof. T. J. Chuang at Institute of Atomic Molecular Sciences (IAMS), Taipei and Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (SRRC), Hsinchu, Taiwan, Republic of China (ROC) for metal, metal oxides and cluster. Especially this was involved design and constructs the beam line for X-ray photoemission microscopy (PEMS) and XPS, UPS, AES, STM and AFM techniques for analysis of semiconductors, metals and metal clusters (No Experiments were carried out during this project).

From 1993-1996 I was working for my Ph. D degree, supervised by Prof. W. R. Flavell (Ex. Reader in Chemistry, presently Prof. in Physics) on Surface Chemistry of High Temperature Superconducting Oxides at Department of Chemistry, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, UK. Especially this was involved synthesis and characterized in the range of ceramic Bi2Sr2Ca1-xYxCu2O8+d (x=0-1.0) system. For analysis and characterized the sample we used SEM, EDAX, XRD, VSM techniques at the Department of Chemistry, UMIST, Manchester, and Resonant Photoemission Spectroscopy, EXAFS, NEXAFS / XANES and Angle resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARUPS) at Synchrotron Radiation Sources (SRS), Warrington, Cheshire, UK which are published in the international reputed journals.

I would like to mention here that from 1991-1992 I have worked for my M. Sc. (by research) degree, supervised by Prof. W. R. Flavell (Ex. Reader in Chemistry, presently Prof. in Physics) on Surface Chemistry of High Temperature Superconducting Oxides at Department of Chemistry, University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, UK. Especially this was involved synthesis and characterized in the range of ceramic Bi2Sr2Ca1-xYxCu2O8+d (x=0-1.0) system. For analysis and characterized the sample we used SEM, EDAX, XRD, VSM and UHV X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) techniques at the Department of Chemistry, UMIST, Manchester, UK.
