DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF SEAM WELDING MACHINE
Ø Converted a spot welding machine into a continuous seam-welding machine. Presently used for laboratory demonstration in Vasavi College of Engineering.
DESIGN OF MULTI-DIRECTIONAL BALANCE MACHINE
Ø A Device was manufactured to aid rehabilitation of people having injury in the lower leg. The board has free motion about 2-axes, which will aid in strengthening the lower leg by providing appropriate exercise to it.
RAPID PROTOTYPING & REVERSE ENGINEERING
Ø Used a Rapid Prototyping Machine with a computerized knife to cut the adhesive paper. The cut papers were stacked to build the required part. Reverse Engineering was used to measure the dimensions of the existing mate part.
Ø Utilized Unigraphics to make a solid model of the previously designed seam-welding machine assembly.
Ø Designed computer mouse using free-form features.
Ø Designed bracket and propeller assembly using simple sketch tools.
Ø Performed Finite Element Analysis on bracket by using octree elements to find the final deformation and stress induced in the bracket.
FINITE ELEMENT APPROXIMATION
Ø Developed a code in C to compute solutions for one-dimensional problems such as bar and heat flow.
Ø Performed 2-D analysis on undulated extruded part to find the stress at lowest cross-sectional areas using IDEAS.
Ø Performed Finite Element Analysis on transmission tower using ANSYS to find the final deformation.
