Dear Linda

RE: Tool Designer

I am writing to you in response to your advertisement for an open position.

I am a German trained engineer with extensive knowledge in mold and sheetmetal tooling and tool design. I am confident that I will be able to deliver the results that you may be looking for in a very cost effective way. I have over 15 yrs of experience.
My experience includes global procurement and design of tooling and prototypes that satisfy the likes of organizations like IBM, SUN Micro systems and Thompson Consumer Electronics.
In NYC I have worked for a lighting fixture manufacturer, with just one hundred employees they had a turn over of $27 million.
In my most recent job with Siemens, I have done two jobs one that of a Amada turret programmer and the other of a senior manufacturing engineer doing all the improvements in the heavy press area until they moved manufacturing to Mexico.
I am currently working for Freudenberg NOK in north Georgia. This is a German-Japanese producer of transmission seals-the largest in the world.

I do speak enough German to get by. I am a US citizen.

Kind Regards,

Ravind Shrotria
