I am a technical recruiter with a client that is looking to hire a key individual for a plant in their flexible packaging division. The client is a large privately held company and is looking for a Shift Supervisor for their injection molding plant in the near west suburbs of Chicago. Ideal candidate will have experience in injection molding. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in plant/mfg. operations. This plant is non-union, so we are looking for someone with great people management and communication skills. A B.S. degree is a must as we expect this person to be promoted several times over the course of the next 4 years - client has very agressive growth plans (the hiring manager is a personal friend and has been promoted twice in the last year!). This person will work a "2-2-3" shift and oversee 12-15 employees in a "clean room" environment. They will be responsible for production planning, cost containment, safety and quality control functions. All applicants MUST be local - no relo is offered. Pay is $60k+ great benefits!
