With more than $135 million in sales, 850 employees and manufacturing facilities around the world, the division ranks number one and two in its market segments, with more than 87% of sales coming from these activities. Established in 1903, the parent company is a $900 million NYSE listed company diversified in the marketing and manufacture of industrial fasteners and precision components, super alloys and magnetic products. The magnetic products business is on an aggressive path to grow market share within its present customers and become the number one producer within the fragmented magnetic materials market by acquiring companies that are niche market leaders or companies that can be merged into its existing business. The magnetic materials business is positioning itself to grow significantly over the next five years due to their customer’s increasing demand for its highly specialized products and through strategic acquisitions and Greenfield projects. There is an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, high energy, self-directed strategic thinker to serve as a key member of company’s planning and execution team as General Manager in the Marietta, Ohio facility. Reporting to the President of Industrial Products, the General Manager will have full P&L responsibility for all strategic and operational aspects of the facility and must be able to identify and penetrate emerging markets, optimize global commercial activities and participate in joint ventures, acquisitions and further expansions into Asia. The primary responsibility of this position will be to increase market share. Utilizing sound influence management skills, this individual will draw upon his/her potential and desire to advance larger management assignments within the Company. They will also be an integral in developing new business and increasing revenue from existing clientele.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes/qualifications:

· 8-12+ years experience in a Senior Level management role
· Success as the general manager of a $25 million company or division with global operations and customers
· Line or strategic management of sales, marketing or new business development in a manufacturing environment
· Leadership roles in businesses focused on short lead-time technical products
· Proven ability to attract, recruit and retain talented employees
· Experience with diverse background working with different types of products
· Outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels in the organization. Superior listening skills and persuasive powers
· Ability to travel domestically 30 percent of the time
· Demonstrated ability as a consensus builder.
· Bachelors in a technical field (preferably Engineering) required; M.B.A. highly desired.
