Dear Mr. Mathieu Burthey:

This evening I found your interesting ad. After thinking about, what it appears you are looking for, one man comes to mind and that is my very good friend and former fellow professor of Industrial Technology, Dr. Will Norton. Dr. Norton is currently living in Evanston Ill., a suburb of Chicago, USA. I am aware that he is now searching for a new career opportunity.

I am now fully retired but I have worked with Dr. Norton intensely in the past on several projects, and that is how I know him.

Now as far as I know, Will is not aware of your ad, nor is he aware that I am sending this note to you on his behalf. Therefore, I really cannot say for sure if he would be interested in your advertised job position. However, I believe he might be.

In describing Dr. Norton I would say that he is the brightest, and the best educated, and the hardest working, advanced-technical/engineering person that I know of. Further he has myriad all around, advanced level experiences, in industrial/technical, manufacturing, production planning, operations, management, training, and product assessment. Additionally, he has advanced skills in industrial quality assurance and I can tell you from personal experience with him that he can and has in the past operated many complex precision production machines and is not afraid to “get his hands dirty”. His machining and computer skills are simply the best.

I will say no more.

If you wish to pursue this lead please feel free to contact me for further information.

Sincerely,

Dr. Leslie C. Miller,
Retired Professor of Industrial Technology
and Technical Education
University of Guam
727-345-9131 or,
lmille16@tampabay.rr.com.

PS: Will Norton loves to travel and take on manufacturing problems that no one else can or will attempt to solve.
