Lead R&D Electronic Test Technician/ Lab Supervisor

The Lead R&D Electronic Test Technician/ Lab Supervisor will be responsible for working from schematics to build prototypes of electronic components for our medical device. Once the prototypes have been built, the Lead R&D Electronic Test Technician/ Lab Supervisor will be responsible for performing validation tests, debugging, and documenting the test results. This individual will act as a significant resource to the Design Engineers throughout all phases of product development. In addition, this individual will also provide supervision to the Test Technicians and ensure that the Lab is operated and maintained in an professional manner.

An AA degree or equivalent in a technical discipline. Electronics or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years experience as an Electronics Test technician in an R&D or Engineering lab. Must be proficient in prototyping, testing and debugging complex analog and digital circuitry.
Experience with FPGAs as well as low-current or high-voltage components is desirable.
Supervisory experience in an electronics test lab is strongly desired.
Ability to self-start and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Labview experience is required.
Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
