TITLE Design and Fabrication of"SERVO VALVE

DESCRIPTION In most of the production based industry, powerhydraulics is used to control most of the operation along with some precise direction control valves. In JVSL servo valves of different series are used to control various operations like wrapper roller, downcoiller, roughing mill, finishing mill, etc. In our project we have designed and fabricated a servo valve-testing bench. The components required for our project is taken from unused and scrap of the plant. The cost estimation of our project is about 71,850 Rs.
Once the problem in the servo valve is rectified, it is disassembled and the faulty or damaged components are replaced and again tested. It is also used to check the newly purchased servo valves for its proper functioning. Our project is successfully completed and tested. “This saves money and time, as the valves are tested in plant itself instead of carrying them to dealer”. Our project is being appreciated by C.K.Lal vice president (Hot Strip Mill and IT) JVSL.

DESCRIPTOIN We have design and fabricated the lab equipment"SPRING MASS DAMPER SYSTEM"(Transverse only). Vibration analysis of any system is important to reduce its adverse effect. Hence the natural frequency and damped natural frequency of the material is calculated, considering it as a single degree of freedom.
