A prominent start-up formed by several industry leaders, including Wu-Fu Chen and Dr. Guanghan Xu , building a nomadic, wireless non-line-of-site network that will revolutionize 3G wireless by dramatically decreasing the costs. Located in Plano, TX, this firm caters both lunch and dinner for the entire firm (approx. 150 employees) - in part because they care, and in part because everyone works very hard, long hours!

Power Amplifier Design Engineer -$80-100K: requires a BSEE. The circuit designer needs experience with the design of discrete transistors and matching them up with distributed or lumped elements. Designer needs to be familiar with some type of RF simulation tool. Must be familiar with RF test equipment. Requires at least two years experience in design of power amplifiers, more experience preferred. Must have RF experience above 500MHz and less than 10GHz. Must have design experience with transmitter lineups and power amplifiers. Must be familiar with LDMOS, GAaSFET and Bipolar devices, and with linearization techniques such as digital and analog pre-distortion of various types and basic feed-forward. A designer with actual experience in designing the pre-distortion techniques is preferred. Handset or subscriber or WLL design experience using 20x40 size components preferred.
RF Circuit Design Engineer -$80-110K: requires a BSEE. Needs experience with design of discrete transistors and matching them up with distributed or lumped elements. Must be familiar with some type of RF simulation tool and RF test equipment. Requires at least two years experience in design of power amplifiers, or one year experience in general circuit design or undergrad lab equivalent. More experience in receiver design is preferred. Entry level engineer is acceptable for test fixture design and part evaluation. The engineer must have RF experience above 500MHz and less than 10GHz. Must have worked on transmitters, power amplifiers or receivers. Handset or subscriber or WLL design experience using 20x40 size components preferred.
RF Systems Engineer - $80-110K: must have knowledge of base station architecture dealing with a WLL or cellular mobility infrastructure. Knowledge of base station transceiver design is desired. The position requires 20% travel per year for conferences. This job requires a MSEE degree or higher and at least two years in the related field. Experience with analysis of cascaded transmit intermodulation and receiver NF or sensitivity is required. Experience with planning RF planning with a base station application is required.
