The candidate will be part of an advanced development team working on Sharp's next generation printer and multi-function products. In this role, you will develop exciting new technologies and features combining imaging, printing, network scanning, and internet communications for use with Sharp's line of imaging products.

REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated experience with embedded firmware development and real time operating systems such as pSOS, Linux, (RedHat, HardHat, Embedix), or VxWorks. Demonstrated experience with feature specification, design, implementation, and verification in C/C++. Must have excellent communications skills and teamwork.

OTHER USEFUL SKILLS:
Experience with porting embedded firmware from pSOS to Linux. Understanding, developing and/or using Internet protocols and technologies such as XML Parsing, Embedded Web Servers and IPP. Experience developing color printers, scanners, and copiers. A BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE, or related discipline required. 3-15 years relevant experience preferred.
