Salary: to $55K.
Education: HS/GED, 4-yr degree preferred.
Experience: 10 years Journeyman Lineman.

Instructor/Technical Skills Trainer in power distribution systems needed to provide apprentice lineman instruction for private utility contractor. Prepares for and teaches assigned class and/or laboratories. Responsibilities include:
- Provides instructional and laboratory support.
- Assists in the grading of all assigned course materials.
- Assists in maintaining and inventorying all equipment and teaching supplies.

Requirements:
a. Documented prior work as a journeyman lineman in overhead and underground distribution systems.
b. A working knowledge of underground, overhead, and transmission fundamentals.
c. Working knowledge of metering and substations.
d. Effective communication skills.

A high school diploma or GED is required. Ten years or relevant experience in electric power systems is required; this includes work in capacity of journeyman lineman, with a working knowledge of underground, overhead and transmission fundamentals, metering and substations. Experience in and knowledge of the 1910.269 OSHA standards is a plus. Effective training and communication skills are a must.
