-Cryogenic Engineer · OXFORDSHIRE · c £ 20-35K + BENEFITS

Joining one of the companies within Oxford Instruments plc will provide a rare opportunity for you to further your career whilst working within an advanced technological environment. Not only that, but you’ll be joining a people focussed organisation in which everyone’s opinion counts and your contribution will be recognised.

Oxford Instruments Superconductivity is a company recognised for developing leading edge products. We are part of Oxford Instruments Plc, a world leader in technology which commands an enviable share of the global market. We were the first to develop a 900 MHz magnet and are the world’s leading supplier of both superconducting magnets and ultra-low temperature equipment for scientific research.

What’s more, we are committed to continually improving everything that we do and are determined to combine our unrivalled technical expertise with superb business skills to become a world class manufacturer.

Right now we’re looking for a science graduate like you who has extensive experience of cryogenic systems design including low temperature refrigeration systems. Your brief will be to design cryogenic refrigerator systems and associated cryostat structures so if you also have knowledge of mechanical structure design and manufacturing techniques including vacuum technology and thermal analysis, so much the better.

To join us, you will also need some very special personal qualities such as the ability to work closely with others, excellent written and communication skills and the drive and tenacity to get things done.

In return we offer competitive salaries together with a first class benefits package that includes private health care, share participation and a pension scheme.

Interested? Please send your CV quoting reference TJoN / CRYENG to: Emma Lewis, Recruitment Advisor, Oxford Instruments Superconductivity, Tubney Woods, Abingdon, Oxon OX13 5QX. Or email: jan.bellian@topjobs.co.uk
