Electronics contract manufacturer with over 40,000 employees and 40 locations worldwide has immediate openings in Charlotte NC and Columbia SC for Test Engineers. This is a very dynamic manufacturing environment with cutting edge technologies.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS, SURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGY (SMT) AND HAVE WORKED IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
RESPOSIBILITIES:Coordinates activities involving the fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment. Coordinates engineering activities regarding the development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices for testing and the recording of test data. Supports defect and component failure analysis. Developes and uses computer hardware and software to conduct tests. Trains manufacturing personnel on test hardware and software. BS in engineering in related field or equivalent experience. 3-5 years test engineering experience with an electrical or electronics background. Experience with Genrad, HP3070, Fuji or Universal needed. Experience with schematics, failure analysis, in-circuit troubleshooting preferred.
