An individual is needed to lead production growth of III-V compound materials AlGaAs/GaAs and In GaAs/InP for development of photodiodes to be used in various fiber optic
Essential Job Duties:
Procurement and installation of semiconductor process equipment development and
documentation of process procedures such as PECVD, RTP, and RIE. Interface with engineers to design, develop, process, and characterize various types of photodiodes. Cost reduction, yield enhancement, and performance improvements.
3+ years experience in InGaAs/InP processing for photodiodes. Hands-on experience with vacuum equipment, instrumentation, and epitaxial growth. Knowledge of photolithography and general InGaAs processing is highly desirable. Knowledge of optics, optical design, and thermally compensated optics packaging a plus. Individual should be self-motivated and able to carry out multiple tasks and yet enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented start-up environment. Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, physics materials sciences, or chemistry (doctorate/master's preferred).
