As shown from my C.V. I have gained experience in the General Fabrication and Welding industry both at home and overseas, and would welcome the opportunity to advance my career in the Welding Inspection discipline.

1994 Eight weeks works experience at Peal Engineering, Lincoln England covering Welding & Fabrication methods
1994-1995 Eight months experience gained at Agripet Engineering, Lincoln.General Welding & Fabrication experience covering Manual Metal Arc & Gas shielded welding
1995-1996 One year full time college course gaining Emfec Welding Certificate Level 1
1996-1997 One year working for Britannia Operator Ltd ( Joint venture between Chevron & Conoco ) in Cadiz, Spain.General Inspection duties on the Britannia Jacket including Dimensional Control, Painting & Welding Inspection disciplines. Duties included Inspection surveillance activities by means of audit e.g. Welding parameters, consumable control, preheat control and general adherence to Weld Procedures.Also assisting Dimensional Control Engineer and Senior Painting Inspector with various inspection activities including Jacket setting out points & dimensional tolerances, paint inspection of wet & dry film thickness measurements, blast inspections etc.
1997- May 1999 Working for Depisa Paint Contractors in Dragados yard Cadiz, Spain on the Oresund Support Bridge.Duties involve inspection after blasting for scars, weld spatter, arc strikes etc. and general inspection of the weld ( undercut, porosity etc ) prior to painting.
Jan 1999- Mar 1999 May 1999- Aug 1999 Went out to Malmo Sweden, getting all equipment etc. prepared for the work due to be carried out during the summer months. Also during all paint inspection, wet and dry film thickness of the work carried out during this time.Sent to Malmo, Sweden representing Depisa as QA/QC Coordinator responsible for on site blasting / painting activities.Duties included compilation of all applicable QA/QC documentation for inclusion into As Built Certification and coordination of all Quality Plan activities. Also responsible for work co-ordination for Day/Night shift, and representing Company at Project Meetings, as well as translation of technical documents.During this time all grout system repairs carried out on the Swedish and Danish side working solely with teleporters and responsible for all coordination and on-going site queries of this aspect of work.
