You can remove solids from liquids without some of the traditional drawbacks. No screens, cartridges, cones or filter elements to clean or replace. No backwashing. No routine maintenance or downtime requirements. Lakos separators employ centrifugal action to remove solids from liquids. They are not a centrifuge. They extend effective life of process liquids, protect equipment from abrasive wear, control waste, and reduce downtime and maintenance. The separator has no moving parts to wear out or replace. Applications include spray nozzle and small orifice protection, preventing solids accumulation in pits, sumps and tanks (cooling tower basins, quench pits, parts washers, coolant sumps), extending the life of finer filtration, heat exchanger protection, and waste minimization. Available in sizes from 3 gpm to 12,750 gpm.
