We have a chain conveyor to transport grain. Sometimes we suffer
failure of these chains. I have sent a sample of the material for
analysis in order to try to select a welding procedure. Here are the
results (wt% average): Fe 96..25, Mn 0.81, Si 1.05, K 0.60, Cr
0.32, Cl 0.86 and Ca 0.52. What I did not expect was that
Carbon was not detected. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate if
somebody could suggest the type of kind of metal and a welding
procedure. thanks Rennie
