I'm hoping someone can email me any info on
Nitinol actuators as I don't have access to research papers. Is there any info on Nitinol
being used as pan tilt actuators?
Once an actuators movement is initiated via an
electric current applied to a Nitinol wire or spring, how can one stop the movement at any point and eliminate overtravel? If the actuator is bearing a load, how can it be prevented from
moving once stopped? (I guess I'm looking for a
nitinol Breaking system.) Any Ideas?
Please email me directly with any thoughts on braking, stopping or positioning?
