I too am almost done converting the 7x10 to cnc. The Max mill was helpful for making small brackets and such. I seem to have some trouble finding reasonably priced, small, linear rails for these small projects. Companies like IKO and THK all want hundreds of dollars for small sections of rail that I though might even be scrap or cutoffs to them. Have you seen any hardware like this?
Also, when converting the cross slide for your lathe, did you opt to leave the compound slide manual or the third axis?
