I have used my Maxnc Mill for about a year and a half, with no real problems. I did opt for the BSA screws and zero backlash nuts. The standard 1/4-20 screws took too much work to configure the backlash for and I cut may arcs and circles.
Over time, I have upped the amperage fed to the steppers, and now they seem to work better without skipping steps.
You can email any questions you have and I will try to assist. Thanks, Greg
