FS or trade: I have an industrial quality 55 KW diesel
power generator that is ready for service. It is perfect for those
long ice storms and has a fuel consumption of about 0.6 gallons per
hour. It has a completely rebuilt diesel engine (new rings, sleeves,
bearings, etc., everything done professionally) that is a 353 Detroit
diesel. The generator is currently set up for 240VAC, 120VAC service,
single phase operation but can easily be changed (internally jumpered)
for 3 phase operation. It comes complete with all new latest solid
state controls and regulation installed by Stewart- Stevenson. Also
included are manuals for both the engine and generator. Unit was
originally skid mounted but is now mounted on 2 wheeled trailer for
easy moving and usage. Price is $7500/BO or trades considered. Located
