As Sales Manager for Ascentec Engineering, let me explain why I have chosen to associate with this new and innovative pallet manufacturing company. I have six years of sales experience in the electronics assembly industry and have coordinated the sales for over 6000 custom designed applications. I enjoyed this experience as the focus between the tooling manufacturer and the customer; however, it was often difficult to communicate to the manufacturer the design specifications of the customer because the manufacturing company lacked the expertise of experienced electronic engineers.
Ascentec Engineering was founded by engineers who experienced the need for electronics assembly tooling manufacturers to offer engineering expertise. A user survey of other process engineers in the electronics industry revealed similar challenges. I would like to explain how our electronic assembly experience, our engineering background, and our expedience driven processes will benefit your company.
Ascentec Engineering is more than just a machine shop providing fixtures. Our engineers have had responsibility and experience in every major process in the electronics assembly industry, and have developed solutions for the most difficult assembly problems. We know how frustrating it is to miss build dates, delay important product introductions or experience defects because of tooling manufacturer limitations.
We know the strengths and limitations of most processes and understand how precision tooling can alleviate defects and bottlenecks, whether it be surface mount, adhesive dispense, reflow, temporary solder mask, manual soldering, wave soldering, depaneling, press fit, or test and repair.
Ascentec Engineering will assign a process engineer to evaluate and design your project. We accept and understand all industry data formats and are fully capable of translating and utilizing “intelligent” data such as ODB++ that contains embedded component data. Deciphering any type of data is trouble-free with our information systems specialists whose experience includes implementing and supporting company wide CIM tools, including Valor.
Our staff includes an engineer with a M.S. degree in computer-integrated manufacturing that emphasized machining practices using advanced materials. As a result, our customers benefit from our optimized machine times, cutting speeds, and unique material clamping methods. We provide tolerances and turn times that are unmatched in the industry.
Ascentec Engineering provides simple and robust solutions to the most complex problems and we deliver in a timely manner. To ensure that your expectations are met, the company uses an extensive system of custom built databases. These allow us to track customer profiles, track projects through the manufacturing floor and provide the necessary information to ship on-time, every time. Properly implemented, these tools allow us to rise above our competition to deliver lower cost solutions with the highest quality products and services. Satisfaction is in the details; we have a database for those too.
Our goal is to provide solutions to the most complex problems and to delivering your product on time. Our innovative products are a result of our knowledge base, experience, industry associations and most importantly our customer’s input.
The tooling industry needs to change, and Ascentec Engineering plans to drive that change.
