I have built 26 audio power amplifiers and 3 preamps since 1984. I built one Hybrid with two 6922 tube
front end diff pairs, and transistor voltage shifter/gain stages and emmiter follower with current sources around with
these fets in the output in April of 1984. I was building Hafler kits for customers so I have experience with these
fets. It was fun to listen to the NEW musical detail and sound of all of my records and CDs all over again after I
built each new amp. Now with all of the new semiconductors, I am dreaming of a new circuit topology for another
one.
