I have bought an extremely cheap alphanumeric LCD module (16 characters x 2 lines). When I received it, it has turned out to be a 16 signals module, arranged in a way (one row in the bottom edge) completely different from standard ones (one 14-signals row in the bottom edge or two 8-signal rows in the left side).
I have failed trying to get information about the module (I searched in the web with no success, and in www.trid.com I have come to the conclusion that it has been discontinued long ago).
So, I wonder if anyone can help me pointing out the pin-out of the module, and telling me if the control protocol is similar or not to that of standard and clasical modules.
The part number is TRIMODS1535, and there is no visible controller chip: the silicon die is directly attached to the PCB and covered with a protective black resin drop.
