Hello, I'm from Argentina. I bought a Metex multimeter in 1997, It's the M3600.
Last week, the batery was low, so I took a power suply and I conect It to the texter. Then I put IT in 750C AC, when I conect the prove terminals to the AC plug, the tester turn off. When I try to turn It on again, I can't.
So I open It, and I saw a broke transistor, so I try to change It, Now when I conect the batery, It turns on automaticaly, and I couldn't turn it of by de "on-off" button, and can't measure anything.
I don't know what's hapend, please, If yo could help me, maybe sending me the schematic of the circuit, or maybe any way of repairing it.
It would be gratfull for me to receive some information, thank you bery much.
Daniel marcelo Schupbach.
