Hello Pete and Dean.
Dean, your comment about the effects of ultrasonic sound on humans reminded me of one of the "Carl and Jerry" storys written by John Frye for Popular Electronics back in the early sixties.
Carl and Jerry, two friends who were enrolled as engineering students at "Parvoo Univeristy", ended up finding someone in a dormitory who was deliberately exposing passersby to ultrasonic sound at high levels, just to cause then some problems! The story was fiction of couse, but John Frye used to use genuine science and technology in creating his stories, so I'd really like to suggest not trying to do this thing.
Also, I believe that I've read that ultrasonic animal chasers aren't all that effective anyway!
Good luck.
