I am interested in fuse materials for design purposes. Some analysis, as a starting point, has lead me to believe that the fuses examined were:
30 amp 32V: 99 wt% Zinc/ 1% Copper
7amp: 99 wt% Zinc/ 1% Copper
3 Amp 250V: 98 wt% Silver/2% Copper (fuse was a wire geometry)

Any reference material (a text book would be great!)/web site/contact/company (academic or industry) to confirm or deny these findings so I can start to learn about the design process would be greatly appreciated.
