I am currently trying to design a timing curcuit that
could be controled by digital or analog output from a
computer. It needs to vary from 4 msec to 50 msec.

I have two thoughts. One is to use a JFET as a variable
resistor for a monostable and the other is to use a pot
that would be controlled with the output if the serial

Any ideas? Does any of my approaches sound good?
