Hello.

I'm a last year student electro-mechanics (highschool) and we recently got
some SAIA PCD 4 PLC's for free from a company.
We are going to use these PLC for a project that must be finished before the
beginning of june (open schoolday). We are going to use it to control a
system involving a real-world traffic system. Small toy cars driven by
elektromotors and steered by elektromagnets need to follow a certain route
on the road and they must stop on red lights, crosspoints , respect traffic
rules, etc.... We haven't used such a PLC yet (only Siemens S5 and S7-200)
so it will be difficult to learn the language quickly :(

We already have little time to accomplish this [it will probably fail :( ]
but our main problem is that we have not got software to write and download
the program to the PLC. On the web I've found that there is such software.
It's called "PG4" or something like that and it runs on Windows. If the
program should support writing programs in LADDER or logical blocks or
Grafcet that would be great since we can never learn to use the language
decent that fast.

Does anyone know where I can download such software? If it's needed I can
prove that I'm a student.

If you may have got some information, please let it know quickly since we
are running out of time.

Thanks in advance!!

Tim.
