I just bought a (I think) an older Hitachi cam corder. It has a 10 volt 850mAh (1h Rate) battery pack and takes a full size VHS tape. The model no. is 8500LA. Unfortunatly the charger didn't come with it. I am having a little difficulty finding a charger for it. I was wondering if I could just by a 10 volt charger and hook it up if this would charge the battery without any damage?
