Subject: Nano second pulse generator

In particular, I am interested in designing a pulse generator which can give pulses of a nano second time duration (0.5 to 2 ns), with subnanosecond rise times, peak signal amplitudes of the order of 10-15V (+ve/-ve) and pulse repetition frequency(PRF) up to 100 MHz or more. The unit is to be triggered by a 40MHz or 80MHz near sinusoidal signal with an amplitude (peak to peak) of about 1V.I want to use this in gated bias operation of an avalanche photodiode (APD) for single photon counting.

Can anybody kindly suggest a solution for this.
