Greetings. Re Digital LCD Panel Meters---Try Circuit Specialists, Inc, at HTTP://www.cir.com -- at one time they had a great selection selling for very very reasonable prices (US$10.) These days it is not really economic to construct instruments like these when commercial units are available for such a song. Note that if you wish to power your meter electronics from the same source (5V) you want to monitor then you will require a more specialised model version which allows for this, as many common meters require a power supply isolated from any input connections. Also, a lot of cheap meters are scaled for 200 mv FSR so you should know how to calculate appropriate resistive networks to allow the meter to read your range of interest.
