Don't be foolish!! Jamming is not the answer, especially since it's illegal! Unlike theaters, churches and offices, you are in the unique situation of being able to charge for certain services. If you can automatically add 15% gratuity for parties of 6 or more, you could add 20% for cellular phone use to all checks, then deduct that service fee if no one at that table uses a cellular phone.

Or you can redecorate!! Line all the walls with embossed copper and steel. Not only can you remodel and change the decor, you can shield the room from RF so that cell calls will neither come in nor go out. Of course, if you're using vibrating pagers for patrons waiting to be seated, they'll have to stay within your walls unless you add an outdoor antenna. Your patrons will also have superb protection from lightning!
