Re Squirrel Shocker, I use one on my birdfeeder which is mounted on top of a metal pole. The pole has a 4 ft section of 1.5" ABS pipe at the bottom and which is wound with two interwoven metal strips, one is grounded the other is fed in Hi Voltage from a stepup circuit using an old auto ignition coil. If you are interest I can send you the details. No more problems from pesky squirrels or raccoons.
