The incumbent directs and leads all manufacturing functions to achieve production and cost objectives. Specific responsibilities in the Vice President’s span of control include plant maintenance, core manufacturing processes (crushing, heating, crystallizing, finishing) and packaging and shipping. The incumbent also manages technical and QC/QA functions. The Vice President directs the development and implementation of all plant operating improvement programs. (New programs are needed to revitalize the operation through process, productivity, quality and cost improvements.) ... snip ...
