hi, one of the topology used is the track and latch and this requires a preamp for the input signals. Theoretically, the gain for this preamp stage should be 10 and below if speed and moderate resolution are required. Can anyone tell me the reason behind this. I can't find any good answer to this from any paper or textbooks... Thanks very much....ling
