I have a project where I need a panel mount RJ-45 jack and I'm not sure anything like that exists. After a lot of web searching and stopping at a couple electronics supply stores, I've not found a solution.
For the prototypes I just cut down a wallplate to the size needed and super glued it to the project box. I'd like something a bit more finished for the final products. What I'm envisioning is like is something like a standard LED holder where you drill a hole, pop the holder in the panel and then the LED in the holder.
Does anyone know of something like this for RJ-45s or have ideas for alternate solutions?
Thanks.
