hi, i'm in the uk england > does anyone out there now how to construct a battery operated driver to light a neon tube (using a single electrode)to light up from end to end for a light saber visual effect. these units are available from the web site below (but postage from US is expensive) > amazing1.com/plasma.htm > >they give circuit plans, but i can't source the D40D5 npn HF power tab > transitor or a "high frequency" oscillator transformer ~200kHz, centre tapped in a small package.(any equivalents?) > > please pass message on to anyone who you think can help........thanks > d.smith dsdjp@rmplc.co.uk
