Can anyone help me? I am preparing a study for replacing (existing) control valves for frequency controlled drives on (existing) pumps and fans. I am looking for references and experiences. (Links, books, articles, etc) What are the consequences for the behaviour of the controlled process? What are the (dis) advantages and pitfalls? What are the main factors for a successful replacement? Can I maintain the (existing) electrical drive? If not why?
