Hi, > > Can anyone tell me if there is any information on the net or any relevent > books on building positional servomechanisms? I need to build one in order to lift a small shaft a certian distance. Ideally i was thinking on using a closed loop feedback PID controller to control a DC motor. So far all of the books I have looked at are not practical enough and seem not to give any information on the building aspects.
